When pushing for higher yields, a lot of things need to go just right. Weed control, seedbed preparation, fertility levels and of course the weather all play a big role. At Great Heart Seed, we feel that it’s our duty to provide peace of mind that at least when it comes to seed, the unknown is out of the equation. Before any seed goes into our bags, we measure performance across different soils, locations and stressors. During this testing, our representatives become very familiar with the potential upcoming breeding lines, and the person making recommendations for your farm will be looking at those lines in locations near you a year or more before you plant them. Why put this much effort into producing seed? Because we want to do everything imaginable so you can get the highest yields possible.
